Fasting is intentionally giving something up to focus our attention and energy on God.

Examples:
Liquid fast: Refraining from solid foods
Daniel fast: Eating fruits, nuts, vegetables, + whole grains

When deciding on a fast, we encourage you to seek God in prayer and follow what the Holy Spirit leads you to do.

Every year as a church, we come together to fast + pray as we seek God for the year ahead. Our hope is that you would experience God in a new + fresh way.

Fasting helps reset our souls, quiet distractions, and renew us from the inside out.

Fasting opens your eyes.

Just as research shows that physical fasting can improve eyesight, spiritual fasting clears away what blinds us and sharpens our spiritual vision.

Fasting re-centers our hearts to see God as our true source and acknowledges His provision in our lives. It’s a declaration that He is our source.

We’ll conclude the fast by coming together on Saturday, January 10th at 5p for Encounter, a powerful night of worship at our Central Campus.

This will be an expectant gathering where we create space for God’s presence to move in remarkable ways.
