Help Make An Impact In Our City For The Cause Of Christ!
ServeCLT brings the heart of Freedom House to our city. During the 4th week of the month, we partner with local outreach organizations and ministries, and work together to meet the practical and spiritual needs in our community.
Our goal is to be the hands and feet of Jesus, driven by His heart to serve others, while giving people the opportunity to find true hope and experience Christ’s freedom in their everyday life.

homeless relocation--crisis assistance
Saturday, April 27, 2019 8:45-11:30am
Crisis Assistance Furniture Bank
333 Dalton Avenue
The Furniture Bank helps families live with dignity by providing furniture and appliances free of charge. Donors provide new and gently used essentials including tables and chairs, mattresses and dressers. Crisis Assistance Ministry helps families move out of homeless shelters and into stable housing. Families select essential household furniture at the Crisis Assistance Ministry Furniture Bank and then a team of volunteers helps move it to the family’s new home. This service saves families from using their limited financial resources on the high costs associated with moving expenses, and helps families live with the dignity that comes from having a properly furnished home. We will help load, transport, and unload donated furniture from the Furniture Bank to the customer’s new residence.
- Dress appropriately for the weather.
- Children over 12 may participate.
- Wear closed toed shoes!
