Central Connections Coordinator / Executive Assistant
Reports to: Executive Director of Ministries
Onsite Hours: Monday-Thursday 9a-5p, Sunday 8a-2, evenings and Saturdays, as needed for events
JOB PURPOSE
Coordinate the connection of people into the life of the church through intentional next steps like our FH Membership Class, Dream Team and LifeGroups. Identify potential leaders and move them through the Leadership Pipeline. Assist with the mobilization of volunteers and leaders by helping people discover their purpose, determine their highest and best leadership role, accelerate the vision of the church and become a Kingdom influencer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Connections
Connect with new people at FH and invite them to take a next step.
Follow up with people you’ve met and invite them to become a member by attending Get On Track.
Help people get connected in a LifeGroup and serve on the Dream Team.
Follow up with people to help them continue taking next steps. This could be follow up after Get On Track, on serving interest, helping people sign up for a LifeGroup, baptism, forward, or an event.
Identify potential leaders and invite them to apply for leadership.
LifeGroups
Assist LifeGroup Director with identifying future FH LifeGroup Leaders at the Central campus. .
Keep leaders engaged at campus level and assist with the engagement of leaders for upcoming LifeGroup semesters.
Promote and market LifeGroups on social media, in service and through leaders.
Dream Team
Build the volunteer teams and create and promote a culture of serving at FH that will result in team growth and volunteer retention.
Oversee volunteer on-boarding processes, training, and care of volunteer teams.
Oversee the growth, volunteer recruitment and coordination of FH Guest Services Teams.
Set the table and oversee guest services teams during services and events to ensure all volunteer roles are filled and we provide a 5-star guest experience.
Assist with the coordination of Dream Team events rotating between training, appreciation and socialization.
Setting the Table + Guest Experience
Ensure the table is set for guest services teams for weekend services ensuring a 5-star guest experience.
Meet and connect with new and returning guests and help them connect to the life of the church by taking a next step.
Connect with and thank volunteers and Dream Team leaders during services.
Oversee guest services teams for special events.
Help coordinate and mobilize volunteers for special projects like baptism, Authentic, holidays, etc.
Get On Track
Coordinate Central Campus Get On Track membership class.
Ensure the table is set with excellence and guests are hosted at Central Campus.
Connect with attenders during event, present volunteer opportunities and help people identify a team to serve on.
Follow up with members to ensure they take a next step.
Miscellaneous
Assist the Executive Director of Ministries with administration and clerical tasks such as communications, reporting, organization charts, scheduling, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate should be personable and friendly, skilled with people, and lead with a passion for connecting people to their purpose. He/she should lead with compassion, enthusiasm, character and be able to competently assist with building and leading teams, encouraging team work.
Qualifications include:
Proficient in Word, Excel, Social Media.
Ability to assist with leading others, building teams.
Build and maintain healthy relationships.
Takes initiative, is self-motivated, positive, possesses good work ethic, able to take direction from supervisors, enthusiastic, goal oriented.
Experience with FHConnect, PCO requested.
